Here is a new chemo cap design I just finished. Hope you enjoy it!
Lacey Flower Basket Chemo Cap
Materials:
(1) 3.85 oz skein of I love this Cotton yarn– 205 Too Pink Print
Size 8 circular needles & 1 set of size 8 DPN’s
1 tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
K=knit
P=purl
Yo= yarn over
Ssk= slip, slip, knit
K2tog= knit 2 stitches together
P2tog= purl 2 stitches together
Directions:
With circular needles, cast on 80 stitches
Join being careful not to twist the stitches
Round 1-8: *(K4, P4)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 9: *(yo, ssk, k, k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 10: *(k, yo, ssk, k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 11: *(k,ssk,yo,k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Rounds 12: *(k,k, ssk, yo)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Rounds 13-16: K for every stitch
Round 17-24: *(P4, k4)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 25: *(k,k,ssk,yo)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 26: *(k, ssk, yo,k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 27: *(k, yo,ssk, k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 28: *(yo, ssk, k, k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Rounds 29 – 32: K for every stitch
Rounds 33 – 40 Repeat rounds 1-8
Round 41: *(yo, ssk, k,k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 42: *(k, yo, ssk, k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 43: *(k, ssk, yo, k)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 44: *(k,k,ssk, yo)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Rounds 45-48: K for every stitch
Round 49: *(p2tog, p2, k2tog, k2)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 50: *(p3, k3)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 51: *(p2tog, p1, k2tog, k1)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 52: *(p2, k2)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 53: *(k2tog, p2tog)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 54: *(k1, p1)* repeat from * to * for entire round
Round 55: *(k2tog) repeat from * to * for entire round
Cut tail of yarn, leaving a 6” tail. Using the tapestry needles, thread the tail through the remaining stitches and draw the stitches tightly. Knot off the yarn and weave in the yarn ends.
